Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Simon Standa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Hunter has chosen The DOC vs Earshot as his entrance music. Jake Hunter told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

9 - 55 - 0, fighting out of New York, Simon Standa!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jake Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Eddie Farnsworth, Jorge Garcia and John Kavanagh.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Standa throws a jab but it's blocked by Hunter.
Standa misses with a takedown
and Hunter counters with a takedown into side control.
Hunter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though.
Hunter has hold of Standa's arm. He's looking for a kimura. Standa seems comfortable defending it but Hunter has shifted his position slighty and is cranking on the arm! Standa is real pain and he's forced to tap out! Standa is disgusted with himself for not defending it better but Hunter couldn't care less - he's delighted!
