Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Boregone Brath!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brath lands a jab.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Carwin.
Brath misses with a few strikes there.
Brath closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brath throwing strikes but Carwin manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Brath is pushing Carwin's head away, looking to escape. Carwin manages to hold on to the position though.
Carwin sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Brath is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Carwin wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Brath, who protects the arm well.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Carwin thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

Brath is trying to control Carwin's posture but Carwin avoids it.
Brath tries to buck Carwin off but Carwin is having none of it.
Brath tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Carwin is remaining active here, looking for the choke. The more discerning members of the crowd will appreciate his efforts.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Carwin is staying calm and holding on to the back position, whilst working on a rear naked choke. Brath is defending well though. Carwin let's go of the attempt for now.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Carwin thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.
Carwin throwing damaging strikes from the back! Brath could be in trouble here!
Carwin working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Brath is doing well to defend. Carwin seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Brath is forced to tap and this one is over!
