The judges for this bout are Shirou Masuda, Shigeki Fujiwara and Ren Mimura.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tyrant digs a good hook to Popovic's body.
Tyrant misses with a looping right.
Popovic misses with a jab, cross combination.
A swing and a miss from Tyrant.
Popovic looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Popovic walks into a jab.
Tyrant throws a big shot that misses.
Tyrant lands with a good body shot.
Popovic ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Tyrant moves away.

Tyrant scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Popovic doesn't seem bothered though.

and Popovic connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

Popovic lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.
Popovic is putting a hurting on Tyrant here, landing some big shots from side control.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Tyrant tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Popovic presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount!

Oooooh, big shot lands for Popovic! Tyrant is hurt baaadly! Popovic is firing away with more strikes - Tyrant is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
