Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Sho Shinjo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jaack Hitting (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jaack Hitting is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Sho Shinjo!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jaack Hitting!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Steve Erwin and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hitting on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Hitting shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Shinjo pinned against the cage. Shinjo gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hitting misses with a takedown attempt - Shinjo sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Shinjo misses with a body kick.
Hitting takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Shinjo looks to land a combination but Hitting avoids it well.
Hitting closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
Shinjo struggles to land a body shot inside as Hitting controls his hands.
Hitting jumps guard but Shinjo stands there with Hitting around his waist. Hitting gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Sho Shinjo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jaack Hitting.
Shinjo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Shinjo throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges.
Shinjo working aggressively here.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Hitting prevents a body shot from Shinjo.
Shinjo misses with a punch on the inside.
Shinjo is looking to control Hitting's arms but Hitting gets an underhook and turns him. Now Shinjo has his back to the cage.
Hitting pulls guard effortlessly.
Hitting manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Shinjo is trying to stand but he's not in a good position to be doing that! Hitting has taken his back!
Shinjo knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Hitting on the ground.
Hitting throwing lazy shots from the back mount that aren't doing any damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hitting biding his time, looking for the opening.
Hitting is cranking Shinjo's head sideways - that looks painful. He's managed to get his other arm under the chin and this looks bad for Shinjo! He's tightened the choke and Shinjo is tapping out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:29 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Jaack Hitting!
