Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Aaron Epps (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vins Vega (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Epps keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Vega looks to clinch
and Epps counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.

It looks like Vins Vega has been cut.
Epps looks to throw the jab but Vega is out of range.
A head kick misses from Vega.
Vega tries to clinch up but Epps circles away and keeps his distance.
Epps is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Epps throws a hook but Vega blocks it.

Vins Vega seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Epps throws a body punch but Vega moves out of range.
Vega misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Epps throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Vega takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Vega looks gassed!

Vega gets tackled into the cage by Epps. Epps maintains the clinch.

Vega drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Epps gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Epps scores with a shoulder strike.
Epps lands a right hand that snaps the head of Vega backwards.
Vega wants to get back to striking at distance but Epps won't allow it.
Epps has Vega pushed against the cage.
A right hook to the body lands for Epps.
Epps makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut.

That has opened up Vins Vega's cut even more.
Epps lands with a right to the head.

Epps presses Vega against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The cut above Vins Vega's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Epps lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Epps breaks from the clinch.
Epps cracks a nice hook into Vega's ribs.
Epps sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Vega's defenses. It connects perfectly with Vega's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
