Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Monstrous Stone (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jason Mason (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Monstrous Stone! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jason Mason! The judges for this bout are , and .
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stone shoots for a takedown but Mason saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Mason throws a series of punches but Stone moves out of range. Mason avoids the head kick by Stone.
Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mason pinned against the cage. Mason gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stone shoots in for a takedown but Mason shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monstrous Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Horrible takedown by Mason or perhaps it was just good defense by Stone which made him look bad. Stone tries for a takedown but Mason circles away easily and Mason counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. Mason in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. Stone knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mason on the ground. Mason controlling from the top position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Let's hope that Mason has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Jason Mason has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Mason shoots in and gets a takedown into Stone's guard. Stone keeping moving, preventing Mason from controlling successfully. Stone working for submissions but it's allowed Mason to get to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stone trying to keep hold of his opponent's head but Mason manages to pass to mount!
Stone is breathing heavily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone throwing hammer fists to the chest of Mason. What's that going to do exactly? Mason gets to his feet and calls his opponent to stand. Here come the fireworks! Stone misses with a head kick.
Stone tries to land a front kick but Mason steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mason. Stone tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Mason misses with a body shot.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Stone swings for the body but Mason moves out of range.
Stone will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A momentary lapse in concentration from Stone enables Mason to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Stone manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Stone being controlled here, momentarily. Stone really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Stone is trying to control the position but Mason postures up. Mason with a flurry of punches that miss. Stone is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Monstrous Stone just wasn't active enough. Stone takes a head kick and keeps coming.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone gets in close and instigates a clinch. Mason is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Stone wants a takedown.
Stone fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Stone gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mason.
Mason looking to slow down the pace here. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Mason can't find room to land a body shot as Stone controls the action.

No luck for Stone with that takedown attempt. Stone fails with the takedown. Mason looks for a takedown but Stone sprawls well. Mason will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Stone tries to clinch but Mason moves out of range. Monstrous Stone is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Stone shoots in for a double leg but Mason sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Monstrous Stone. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stone shoots in for a takedown but Mason shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Mason drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Mason is pushing down on Stone's leg trying to pass to half guard. Stone is fighting to maintain full guard but Mason has managed to sneak the leg through.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason is figuring out what he wants to do next. Mason is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Stone is just riding it out for now. Mason eventually gives up the hold. Mason is thwarting Stone's attempts to control the position. Stone has one foot on Mason's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stone shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mason pinned against the cage. Mason gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Stone fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Mason checks it well. Stone misses with a takedown attempt - Mason sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Stone keeps the fight on the outside. Mason fails with a takedown attempt. Stone doesn't manage to clinch there - Mason circles away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mason fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Stone sprawls well initially but Mason persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Stone scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Mason manages to mount him!
Stone is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Mason lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Mason can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Stone is looking to escape. Mason raining down hammerfists from mount.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mason controlling from the full mount. Stone wants to hold on but Mason pushes him away. Mason looking to control but Stone is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Stone is wriggling around trying to escape.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Stone wants to control but Mason is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jason Mason showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!
Mason throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Mason shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Stone as he jumps to the side. Stone fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Stone shoots and misses and Mason counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Mason is trying to control. Stone wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Stone is looking to improve his position.
Stone wants to control the action here but instead Mason manages to pass to full mount! Stone on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Stone tries to get out of the position. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Mason in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mason looking to secure an arm triangle but Stone defends it well. Mason is working for a guillotine from mount but Stone frees his head quite easily.
Stone wants to try and get back to his feet. Mason lands a heavy elbow. Stone tries to control Mason's body but Mason pushes him off. Stone squirms to his side and now Mason has his back!
That's two minutes gone in the round. You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Mason is hanging on to Stone's back as he tries to escape.
Stone manages to reverse the position and now he's in Mason's guard. Nice work there by Stone.
Stone trying to control the position from guard on top but Mason is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Mason manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Stone manages to get himself to full guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stone trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Stone is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Mason is aware though and is defending well. Stone can't keep his opponent in guard - Mason advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mason content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Stone looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stone tries to roll over but Mason keeps him under control. Jason Mason has got the better of the ground game so far. Mason sitting and controlling from the half guard. Stone is trying to control but can't.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mason seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Stone does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Monstrous Stone has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Jason Mason is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Stone kicks Mason off and gets back to his feet.
And that's the end of the fight! Jason Mason comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Mason winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
