The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holk drives through with a takedown into guard.
Holligan wants to stand and escape but Holk is having none of it.
Holk stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Holk throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Holligan's waist but Holligan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Holk off to one side.
Holk shoots in for a double leg but Holligan sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holk.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for John Holk. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Holk drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Holk shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Holligan as he jumps to the side.
Holk will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

No joy there for Holk, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Holligan scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.

Holligan stands up and beckons Holk to join him on the feet.
Holligan throws a nice looking combination but Holk bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Holligan throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holk.
Holk gets caught flat footed, as Holligan shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Holk is rocked!

Holligan stands up and waves to Holk to follow him.
