Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between John Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Sedgwick Jr (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wiggins is coming into this fight with a significant injury, which will no doubt have an effect on his cardio. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Tony Sedgwick Jr! The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Fedor Mirinova and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sedgwick Jr circles away from the clinch attempt.
Wiggins is breathing heavily. Sedgwick Jr throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Wiggins on the side of the head. Wiggins fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Sedgwick Jr lands with a right hand. Sedgwick Jr shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Wiggins sprawls well. Wiggins wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Sedgwick Jr gets slowly back to his feet. Sedgwick Jr is trying hard to land a takedown here. Wiggins sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Sedgwick Jr closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Wiggins's guard. Sedgwick Jr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Sedgwick Jr with a nice head shot there. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Sedgwick Jr shoots for a double leg takedown but Wiggins sprawls well. He's pushed Sedgwick Jr's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. John Wiggins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tony Sedgwick Jr. Sedgwick Jr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Wiggins was covering up waiting for the punch and Sedgwick Jr finishes the takedown easily into guard. Sedgwick Jr looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Wiggins can't keep his opponent in guard - Sedgwick Jr advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. Sedgwick Jr looks to score some points with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sedgwick Jr moves into full mount! Wiggins won't be happy about that! Sedgwick Jr postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Wiggins looks a forlorn figure.
Wiggins is in a horrible position here. Sedgwick Jr smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.

Wiggins is desperately trying to get back to half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sedgwick Jr has hold of Wiggins's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Wiggins manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Wiggins gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Sedgwick Jr to score an easy takedown into full guard. Sedgwick Jr lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Wiggins can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Sedgwick Jr controls the pace. Sedgwick Jr is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Sedgwick Jr trying to control the position from guard on top but Wiggins is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Sedgwick Jr scoring with punches to the head and body. Tony Sedgwick Jr has got the better of the ground game so far. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Wiggins is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.

Sedgwick Jr stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wiggins swivels though and keeps the full guard. Wiggins has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Sedgwick Jr has passed into side control.
Wiggins tries to buck Sedgwick Jr off but Sedgwick Jr is having none of it. Sedgwick Jr controlling the position from side mount. Sedgwick Jr wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wiggins keeps working. Sedgwick Jr working the ground and pound.

Sedgwick Jr lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Wiggins down.
Sedgwick Jr lands a decent elbow from side control. Sedgwick Jr has worked his way into a potential kimura here. Wiggins is trying to get out of the position but his squirming has just got him deeper into trouble. Sedgwick Jr yanks on the arm and Wiggins is forced to tap due to a very painful looking submission! Nice work by Sedgwick Jr.
