The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stein throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Stein displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Stein misses with a hook. Pudzian ducked under it nicely.
Stein takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Stein tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Pudzian was well out of range. Poor timing from Stein.
Stein pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Stein misses with a body shot.
Pudzian ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Stein just misses with a punch to the body.
Pudzian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Stein.
Stein looks to land a combination but Pudzian avoids it well.
Pudzian fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Pudzian takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Stein throws a leg kick but Pudzian checks it.
Pudzian fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
No luck for Pudzian with that takedown attempt.
Ira Stein has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mariusz Pudzian.
Stein connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Pudzian's hands.
That's one minute gone in the round.
A big left from Stein misses.
Stein thows a body shot but no joy.
Pudzian ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Stein moves away.
Pudzian changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Stein tries to avoid it but Pudzian manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Stein to the ground. Stein escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Pudzian shoots in and gets a takedown into Stein's guard.
Pudzian drops back looking for a leg! Stein is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Stein manages to kick Pudzian off! Pudzian jumps back into Stein's guard.
Pudzian thows a big elbow that misses.
Pudzian pushes down on Stein's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Pudzian has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Pudzian tries to pass the half guard into mount. Stein knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Pudzian is trying to control the action in half guard but Stein is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Pudzian is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Stein knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pudzian on the ground.
Stein tries to hold on but Pudzian postures up.
Pudzian scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Stein?

Stein takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Pudzian is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Stein can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Stein is rocked!
It looks like Ira Stein has been cut.
Stein is breathing heavily.
Pudzian is working close to his opponent, looking to work a submission by the looks of things. Oh, he's managed to get a guillotine from mount as his opponent reached up! That looks tiiiiight! Will he tap? YES, he's tapped! Impressive submission by Pudzian!
