Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sun Kato (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Arne Peters (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Arne Peters has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Sun Kato! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Arne Peters! The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Shigeki Fujiwara and Shirou Masuda.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peters takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Peters takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Kato lands with a thumping leg kick.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Peters has taken the fight to the clinch.
Kato is looking to break free of the clinch but Peters has double underhooks. Good body shot from Peters.
Peters breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Crunch! Kato slams his shin into Peters's torso. Peters darts in and clinches Kato up against the cage. Kato wants to break the clinch but can't.
Peters is stalling here. The referee will be looking to step in if he doesn't pick up the pace. Kato wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Peters has him pressed against the cage. Peters escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Kato dodges the punch combination from Peters.
Peters tries to close the distance and clinch but Kato swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Peters tries to clinch up but Kato circles away and keeps his distance. Kato throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Kato lets loose with a powerful body kick. Peters will feel that in the morning. Kato takes one to the side of the head.
It looks like Sun Kato has been cut. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Peters fails in his attempt to clinch. Peters rushes Kato and presses him up against the cage. Kato is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Peters breaks the clinch.
Kato lands a front kick. Peters wants to clinch up but Kato keeps it at a distance. Kato throws a head kick but Peters moves out of range.
Peters takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
That's one minute gone in the round. Peters moves in looking to clinch but Kato pushes him off. Peters throws a hook but Kato avoids it easily. Kato lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Peters tries to clinch but Kato moves out of range. Kato lands a high kick!
Kato moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Peters tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Kato paws at him with a jab and circles away. Peters fails in his attempt to clinch. Peters wants to clinch up but Kato keeps it at a distance. Peters looks gassed! Nice body kick there by Kato. Peters fails in his attempt to clinch. Peters will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kato misses with a wild body shot. Kato swats away the attempt to clinch by Peters. Peters has developed a nice purple lump on his ribcage, as a result of some heavy body kicks from Kato. Kato throws a nice outside leg kick. Kato moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Kato cracks the inside of Peters's front leg. Peters is looking to clinch. A solid body kick from Kato. Kato throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Kato lands a nice looking kick to the body. Peters takes a step back to recover. Kato lands a head kick!
Peters closes the distance and clinches.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Peters lands a body punch. Peters breaks from the clinch.
Peters has closed the distance and engaged Kato in a clinch.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nice body punch from Peters. Peters scores with an uppercut up the middle. Kato trying to stall but Peters improves his position.
The referee calls for Peters to work.
Peters lands a hook that snaps the head of Kato backwards. With the fighters up against the cage, Kato throws an elbow but misses. Peters lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Kato. Kato's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Kato is rocked! Kato is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Oh Kato is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Peters breaks from the clinch.
Peters fakes the body blow, causing Kato to drop his hands! Left hook to the temple! Kato goes stiff, and falls face first into the mat. Goodnight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Arne Peters!
