Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Burrhus Frederic Skinner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Brian Mc Auley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Brian Mc Auley! The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Donatello Bradman and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Skinner drives through and clinches with Mc Auley against the cage.
Skinner throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Mc Auley blocks it with crossed arms. Skinner gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Mc Auley.
A short uppercut from Skinner. Mc Auley takes a knee right on the jaw!
Mc Auley blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Mc Auley tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Skinner just stands there and leans against the cage. Mc Auley pulls guard. Mc Auley is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mc Auley keeping moving, preventing Skinner from controlling successfully. Skinner wants to stand but Mc Auley has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Mc Auley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Mc Auley prevents Skinner from improving his position. Mc Auley is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Mc Auley trying to control the action but Skinner is working from the bottom. Mc Auley wants to stand up but Skinner is controlling the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mc Auley looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Mc Auley wants to take a breather but Skinner is having none of it. Mc Auley is working for a kimura but Skinner is defending it quite comfortably.

Mc Auley trying to work for an americana but Skinner has managed to regain full guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mc Auley drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Skinner manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Mc Auley has Skinner in his guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mc Auley had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Skinner is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Mc Auley Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Skinner's back instead. Mc Auley avoiding Skinner 's attempts to control his hands. Skinner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Mc Auley on the ground. A lull in the action here.
Skinner is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mc Auley gets his way!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Mc Auley has both hooks in and is working for a choke. Skinner is in real trouble here. Mc Auley gets an arm under the chin and tightens the submission attempt... is this the end? Yes, Skinner is tapping out! Mc Auley wins by rear naked choke!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:58 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Brian Mc Auley!
