Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Luis Di Maria (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edward Mendez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mendez is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Big Pun-Dream Shatterer. Di Maria has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Edward Mendez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Di Maria cracks a nice hook into Mendez's ribs.
Mendez misses with a takedown
and Di Maria counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
A lazy left from Di Maria finds it's target.
Di Maria lands with a shot to the body.
Di Maria scores with a punch to the head.

and Di Maria cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oooooh!!! Di Maria has knocked Mendez down with a huge combo! Di Maria steps away and waves a wobbly Mendez back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

Di Maria moves in close and cracks Mendez with a massive right hand! Mendez, frozen momentarily in time, tumbles to the canvas, already out cold! A brutal knockout by Di Maria!
