Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Zero Kazama (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Logan Smart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Logan Smart struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 147.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Kazama clinches. Smart turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Smart manages to end up in side control. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. Kazama manages to get back to half guard. Smart is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Smart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Kazama is just riding it out for now. Smart eventually gives up the hold. Kazama is controlling Smart's position as best he can from this difficult position. Kazama punching from the bottom.
That's one minute gone in the round. Kazama has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Smart is working away from the top position though. Kazama is defending against the submission attempts here by Smart.
Kazama is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Smart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Kazama doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Smart. Smart looks gassed! Smart is working for a submission of some sort.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazama looks like he's trying to stand up.
Kazama kicks Smart off and gets back to his feet. Kazama lands a jab followed by a vicious hook that sends Smart sprawling to the canvas. Kazama follows him down, looking for the kill. Can Smart hang on?
Smart is rocked!
It looks like Logan Smart has been cut. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Kazama passes to side control. Smart is still in real trouble! Can Kazama finish him? Kazama lands an elbow.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazama cracks Smart with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Kazama immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Smart is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Kazama!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Zero Kazama!
