The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Jones keeping moving, preventing Magalhaes from controlling successfully.
Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.
Magalhaes stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Magalhaes looking to sit in guard and control but Jones gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Magalhaes is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Jones pulls his head out easily.

Jones moves into side control, avoiding a weak kimura attempt from Magalhaes.

Jones decides to stand back up. Jones steps back and let's Magalhaes get back to his feet.
Vinicius Magalhaes seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Jones ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Horrible takedown by Magalhaes or perhaps it was just good defense by Jones which made him look bad.

A close round but Vinicius Magalhaes will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown but Jones shows good takedown defense.
Jones scores with a nice head shot.
Magalhaes blocks a jab.

Magalhaes keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A jab lands there for Jones.

A chopping leg kick lands by Jones.
Jones uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Magalhaes.
Magalhaes shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Jones as he avoids it easily.
Pete Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Vinicius Magalhaes.

and Jones counters with a nice right hand that sends Magalhaes toppling to the canvas! Magalhaes scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Jones finish him?!

Jones drops Magalhaes with a huge uppercut! Magalhaes drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jones is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
