The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blanco lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
Blanco lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
It looks like Maksim Anufriev has been cut.

Blanco connects with a body shot that sends Anufriev's belly button to the back.

Reynold Blanco seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Blanco uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Anufriev keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Anufriev tries to buck Blanco off but Blanco is having none of it.

Maksim Anufriev's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Maksim Anufriev's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

In his post fight interview, Reynold Blanco started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
