With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Stewie Griffin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Juan Pablo Ramlho!
The judges for this bout are Alexandre Firmino, Felipe Paraventi and Matheus Silva.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Griffin misses the target.
Griffin shoots in for a takedown but Ramlho shows good takedown defense.
Griffin keeping at a good range here, avoiding a leg kick.
Griffin has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Griffin there as he acknowledges the shot.
Ramlho is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Griffin.
Griffin throws out a loose jab but Ramlho uses good head movement to avoid it.
Griffin checks a leg kick.
Ramlho swings away with a body shot that misses
and Griffin connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Ramlho scores with a body shot.
Griffin takes a body kick right on the floating rib. Ouchie.
Ramlho feints and then cracks Griffin's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Griffin down.
Griffin misses with an uppercut. Ramlho saw that one coming.
Ramlho chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Griffin shoots in looking for a takedown but Ramlho manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Griffin's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Ramlho paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Ramlho avoids the body shot from Griffin.
Griffin takes a swing at Ramlho's ribcage but misses.
Ramlho throws a solid leg kick but Griffin takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Ramlho.
Ramlho slips under a jab.
Ramlho rushes in with a sloppy looking punch

and Griffin counters with a nice double leg into side control. Ramlho won't be happy with that.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Ramlho can do anything to dispel that myth.
Ramlho wants to control but Griffin postures up.
Ramlho is trying to improve his position.
Ramlho is trying to control Griffin's posture but Griffin avoids it.

Griffin decides to stand back up.

Griffin throws a lazy uppercut
enabling Ramlho to counter with a crisp jab.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Griffin throws a body punch but Ramlho moves out of range.
Griffin loads up on a big right hand but Ramlho slips the punch.
Ramlho misses with a body shot.
Ramlho changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Ramlho lands an overhand right.
Griffin throws an off balance right hand
enabling Ramlho to counter with a crisp jab.


Griffin is rocked!
Griffin ducks under a wild hook from Ramlho.
Oh Griffin is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Griffin misses with a looping right.
Griffin seems to have got his legs back now.
Ramlho scores with a shot to the body.
Griffin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Ramlho moves away.
Ramlho tests Griffin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Nice takedown defense from Ramlho. No joy for Griffin on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewie Griffin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Griffin throws a right hand that misses
and Ramlho counters with a huge left! Griffin is in big trouble! He's backing up but Ramlho isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Griffin from any more damage. A dominating finish by Ramlho!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:01 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Juan Pablo Ramlho!
Our winner, Juan Pablo Ramlho, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
