Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Jack Bonds and Don Winkell.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Miller misses with a takedown
and Halo counters with a nice double leg into half guard.
Halo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Miller defends it well.
Miller is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Halo pulls his head out easily.
Halo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Miller slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Halo pushes down on Miller's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Halo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

Halo is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Miller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Halo.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Halo won't allow Miller to pass to mount.
Miller passes the guard and advances to mount!

and Miller takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.

Cristiano Halo has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nelson Miller.
Halo working from mount. He moves in close and looks like he might be going for an arm triangle... He's hopped off to the side and he's transitioned into an Anaconda choke. Miller turning a nasty shade of purple. He's refusing to tap but he's gone! He's out! The ref rips Halo off and cradles Miller's limp body as Halo celebrates with his corner.
