Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Jon Kreg (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Rabi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Jon Kreg!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Hilo, Rocky Rabi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rabi misses with a takedown attempt

and Kreg counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Rabi's guard now.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Kreg controls from within his opponent's guard.
Kreg seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Rabi for as long as he can get away with.

Jon Kreg has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet.

Jon Kreg has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rocky Rabi.

Kreg's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Kreg is looking to work some ground and pound but Rabi has wrist control.

and Kreg connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Kreg scores with a jab. Rabi acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Kreg lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Kreg changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Rabi looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Kreg decides to stand up, so the ref orders Rabi to his feet.

and Kreg counters with a single leg into guard. Rabi didn't expect that.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Kreg stands up and waves to Rabi to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Rabi takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Kreg sizes up Rabi with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

and Kreg counters with a crisp one two that drops Rabi! Kreg thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Rabi to his feet! Rabi is in big trouble!

Rocky Rabi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Rabi has Kreg pressed against the cage, preventing Kreg from circling away and getting back to striking at range.
Rabi has Kreg pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Kreg manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

and Kreg decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Rabi's guard.
