The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and John Mangel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gore has a takedown stuffed.
Matrix gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Matrix breaks from the clinch.
Matrix misses with a looping right.
Gore lands a big shot that drops Matrix! Can he finish him?
It looks like John Matrix has been cut.
Gore won't allow Matrix to sweep him here.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Matrix wants to sweep but no luck.
Gore is fighting to break Matrix's control of his arms but Matrix is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

The fight stays on the outside here - Matrix looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
