Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Brock Lesnar! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Leland Austin! The judges for this bout are , Timothy Bukovac and Jack Bonds.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sloppy strikes from Lesnar. Those never looked like landing. Austin shoots for a takedown but Lesnar saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Lesnar tries to clinch but Austin is having none of it. Austin fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Austin takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Austin looks gassed! Austin leaves Lesnar with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Austin shoots in for a takedown but Lesnar shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Brock Lesnar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Leland Austin. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Austin fails with a takedown attempt. Lesnar throws a sloppy head kick and Austin moves out of range easily. Brock Lesnar seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Austin goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lesnar rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Austin's guard! Nice work there by Lesnar! Lesnar trying to control the position from guard on top but Austin is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Austin wants to sweep here but Lesnar controlling him for the moment. Austin decides to stand back up. Austin steps back and let's Lesnar get back to his feet. Lesnar shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Austin as he jumps to the side. Austin has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Lesnar.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Lesnar fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Austin throws a head kick but Lesnar moves out of range.

Austin has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Lesnar is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Lesnar has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Austin avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. Lesnar fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Horrible takedown by Lesnar or perhaps it was just good defense by Austin which made him look bad.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Austin is trying to drag Lesnar to the mat but Lesnar just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Lesnar tries to pull guard but Austin won't allow it.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Brock Lesnar. I think Lesnar has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
