Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Suki Jaki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rene Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rene Perez is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Suki Jaki! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Rene Perez! The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Radbod Blank and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jaki rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Perez moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Perez checks the leg kick. No joy there for Jaki, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jaki bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Jaki swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perez circles away quickly and effectively. Perez changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Jaki tries to avoid it but Perez manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Jaki to the ground. Jaki escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Jaki stalks Perez and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Perez's face. Perez staggers backwards, shaken. Jaki misses with the combination.
Perez slips under a jab from Jaki. Jaki lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Perez circles away quickly and effectively. Jaki moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A punch combination from Jaki misses.

Perez throwing strikes but Jaki manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control! Jaki decides to stand back up. Perez is trying hard to land a takedown here. Jaki sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. The crowd cheers as Jaki lands an impressive looking overhand right. Perez doesn't seem phased though. Suki Jaki is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Jaki cracks Perez with a good jab. Suki Jaki seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Jaki throws a series of punches but Perez avoids them all with ease. Perez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! Perez manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Jaki on his heels. He'll look to pass Jaki's guard now, I'm sure. Jaki wants to stand up but Perez is controlling him. Perez wants to pass the guard but Jaki is keeping the position.

Perez scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Jaki to see if he's OK. Perez controlling the position. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while.
