Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Conger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Solrac (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ryan Conger! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Carlos Solrac! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Frank Dennis and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conger swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Solrac looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Conger moves out of range as Solrac strikes. Conger throws a right and a left that Solrac avoids nicely. Conger throws a one two combo.
Conger throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Solrac. Solrac keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Nice jab there from Conger. Conger throws a right and a left that Solrac avoids nicely. Conger looks to land a combination but Solrac avoids it well. Solrac tries to close the distance and clinch but Conger swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Conger throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Solrac's waist but Solrac gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Conger off to one side. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Conger closes the distance and clinches up with Solrac, looking for a takedown. Conger pushes Solrac against the cage but Solrac circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Conger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conger is looking to clinch. Solrac slips a jab and a cross from Conger.
Conger tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Solrac swivels and escapes. Conger throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conger misses with a two punch combination.
A head kick misses from Conger. Conger throws a hook but Solrac blocks it. Solrac scores with a one two! Conger had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Conger takes one on the button. Conger moves out of range as Solrac throws a body kick.
Conger moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Conger shoots for a takedown but Solrac saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Conger scores with a hook. Conger scores with a nice right hand.
Conger misses with a combination
and Solrac counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Conger has one foot on Solrac's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet. Conger throws a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Solrac misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Conger.
Conger gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Solrac counters with a nice double leg into half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Solrac throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Conger tries to kick Solrac off in order to stand up. Solrac Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control. Conger bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet! A combination from Conger does no damage. Conger checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Solrac displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Conger throws out the jab. Solrac looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Solrac is working for a submission of some sort.
Conger kicks off Solrac and gets to his feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Conger throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Conger darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Conger decides to stand up. Conger looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Conger throws a right and a left that Solrac avoids nicely. Nice defenses there by Solrac. Conger misses with a few strikes there.
Conger shoots and misses and Solrac counters with a nice double leg into half guard. Solrac looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Conger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Conger avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Solrac. Solrac is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Conger kicks Solrac off and gets back to his feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Conger pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Conger scores with a takedown into Solrac's guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Conger wants to get up but he can't break Solrac's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Conger avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Solrac has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Solrac looking for a guillotine here but Conger defends easily.
Conger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Solrac, up you get! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Solrac fails to land the takedown. Conger closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carlos Solrac dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Conger catches Solrac with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Conger. Conger scores with a spinning back kick! Conger closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Conger lands in his opponent's guard. Conger wants to get up but he can't break Solrac's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Solrac striking from his own guard. Conger stands up from guard. Let's bang! Solrac takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Conger wants to clinch and Solrac cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Conger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Solrac counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Solrac. Solrac trying to control the position from guard on top but Conger is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Conger keeping full guard, as Solrac tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conger wants to stand up but Solrac is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Conger pushes Solrac off and gets back to his feet.
Conger shoots in for a double leg but Solrac sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Solrac thows a left - swing and a miss! Conger misses with a double jab
and Solrac counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Conger thinking. Conger fails with the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Conger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conger cracks Solrac with a right hand to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Conger cracks a nice hook into Solrac's ribs. Ryan Conger seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Danga de danga de dang - Conger scores with a four punch combination! Conger moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Solrac avoids the head kick by Conger.
Conger throws a nice looking combination but Solrac bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Conger will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Conger works over Solrac's head and body with a nice combination. Conger jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Solrac tries to bum rush Conger with a series of wild strikes but Conger uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Solrac takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket. Conger misses with a series of wild punches.
Conger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Solrac looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.

and Solrac counters with a nice double leg into guard. Conger keeping moving, preventing Solrac from controlling successfully. Carlos Solrac has got the better of the ground game so far. Solrac drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Conger dives on top into guard. Conger decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Solrac, up you get! Conger throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Conger tries to clinch and Solrac moves into the clinch. Conger gets through Solrac's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Solrac pulls guard successfully.
Solrac will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.
Solrac working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Conger doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Conger manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Conger stands up from Solrac's guard - Conger perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solrac showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Conger.
Solrac lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Conger shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Solrac manages to escape and get back to his feet! Conger thows a body shot but no joy. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Conger closes the distance and lands a one-two. Ryan Conger is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Conger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Solrac counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Solrac drops back looking for a leg! Conger is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Conger manages to kick Solrac off! Solrac jumps back into Conger's guard. Conger wants to get back to his feet but Solrac is in a dominant position and won't allow it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Carlos Solrac will probably get the nod - 10:9. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!
Solrac gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Solrac is trying to control the position but Conger postures up. Solrac looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Solrac has a closed guard, preventing Conger from standing up. Solrac is looking to stand up but Conger isn't so interested in that idea. Conger stands up from Solrac's guard - Conger perhaps looking for a knockout. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Conger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Conger looks to land a combination but Solrac avoids it well. Solrac avoids a punch combination nicely.
Conger fails with the takedown. Solrac looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Conger blocking the ground and pound attempt from Solrac. Conger is looking to escape. Solrac looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Conger with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Conger manages to escape and get back to his feet! Solrac misses with a double jab.

That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Conger. That's going to take a lot out of him. Conger scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!
Conger shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Solrac pinned against the cage. Solrac gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Conger keeps the fight on the outside. Conger moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Conger tries to clinch up and Solrac decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Conger's guard. Conger scrambles and gets back to his feet.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Conger scores with a one two! Solrac had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Solrac has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Conger.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Solrac lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Conger tries to clinch up. Solrac shoots and misses and Conger counters with a flying knee. Nice. Conger with a hook. Conger misses with the combination.
Solrac throws a leg kick that is checked and Conger counters with a big head kick but Solrac shrugs it off. Conger closes the distance and clinches up with Solrac, looking for a takedown. Conger pushes Solrac against the cage but Solrac circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Conger avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Conger will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Conger scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Solrac is looking to regain half guard here but Conger keeps moving and retains side control. Solrac can't do much from the bottom here. Solrac manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
That's four minutes gone in the round. Solrac wants to pass to mount but Conger is defending the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Solrac stops Conger from getting back to his feet.
Solrac moves into full mount! Conger won't be happy about that! Conger has given up his back. Will we see Solrac going for some submissions?
Conger is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Conger is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Solrac has the rear naked choke here! This is very bad for Conger! Can he survive? No! He's out! Solrac gets to his feet and celebrates with his cornermen. He looks absolutely delighted. In the post fight interviews he takes time to thank his parents and everyone who has believed in him from the start. How sweet.
