Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sam Mack (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gavin Eoghan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Sam Mack! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gavin Eoghan! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Mack shoots in for a takedown but Eoghan shows good takedown defense. Eoghan misses with a two punch combination.
Eoghan fails with an attempt to clinch.
Mack fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Mack dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Eoghan tries to bum rush Mack with a series of wild strikes but Mack uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Eoghan misses with a double jab.
Mack shoots in looking for a takedown. Eoghan tries to sprawl out of it but Mack keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Eoghan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Excellent takedown into side control there by Mack. Mack grinds an elbow into Eoghan's temple. Mack is looking to take a break and control but Eoghan is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Mack working the ground and pound but Eoghan is defending the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack landing with strikes to the head and body from side control. Mack trying to control the action but Eoghan is working from the bottom. Mack has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Eoghan wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! Eoghan looks gassed! Mack lands a decent elbow from side control. Eoghan gives up the full mount - oops, sloppy defensive grappling there! Mack is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Eoghan is surviving well by controlling Mack's body position as best he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eoghan has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Mack looking to hold on to the position here but Eoghan rolls and ends up regaining guard.
Mack is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Eoghan keeping moving, preventing Mack from controlling successfully.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Mack stands up from guard. Let's bang! Mack closes the distance and clinches. Eoghan digs a right hand into Mack's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Mack's gas tank. Eoghan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mack smiles and moves away.
Eoghan stuns Mack with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Eoghan looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Mack changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Eoghan looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Mack wants to control but Eoghan is keeping him busy. Mack decides to stand up, so the ref orders Eoghan to his feet. Mack clinches.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Eoghan prevents Mack from breaking the clinch. Eoghan tries to break the clinch but Mack is controlling the position. Eoghan stalling in the clinch but Mack improves position. Eoghan is looking to break free of the clinch but Mack has double underhooks. Eoghan is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Mack goes for a takedown in the clinch but Eoghan prevents it.
Mack has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Eoghan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Eoghan breaks from the clinch.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Eoghan circles away from the clinch attempt.
Mack tries to clinch up. Mack tries to clinch up but Eoghan circles away and keeps his distance. Mack throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Eoghan's waist but Eoghan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mack off to one side. Mack feints and as Eoghan raises his hands in defense, Mack changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Eoghan looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Mack has picked Eoghan up and slammed him! Eoghan can't keep hold of the triangle and Mack manages to pass to side control! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mack working the body and head with strikes. You can see the frustration on Eoghan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Sam Mack dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Eoghan closes the distance but Mack moves to the side and Mack counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Mack. Eoghan wants to break free but Mack has control.
Mack tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Eoghan just stands there and leans against the cage. Mack wants a takedown.
Mack goes for a takedown in the clinch but Eoghan prevents it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Eoghan decides to pull guard. Eoghan is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Mack is controlling him. Mack stands and throws Eoghan's legs to the side, diving into side control. Mack wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Eoghan, who protects the arm well. Mack scoring with punches from side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Mack working the ground and pound. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet. Mack decides to stand up, so the ref orders Eoghan to his feet. Gavin Eoghan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Eoghan throws a lazy head kick and Mack counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Eoghan moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Mack gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. Eoghan pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Mack is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Mack is working an open guard so Eoghan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Eoghan goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Mack closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mack trying to control from half guard but Eoghan is working away. Eoghan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Mack. Eoghan looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Eoghan won't allow Mack to pass to mount. Mack is nestled in close to Eoghan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Eoghan is defending against the submission attempts here by Mack.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack wants to free his trapped foot but Eoghan is holding on for dear life with his legs. Eoghan wants to get back to full guard but Mack has mounted him! Mack looking to control and managing it successfully. Mack working for a submission but Eoghan is keeping him at bay.
That's four minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Mack can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Eoghan is looking to escape. Eoghan is wriggling around trying to escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Eoghan is trying to stand but he's just given Mack his back. Mack is landing with strikes from the back. Mack is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Eoghan up.
A lull in the action here.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Sam Mack will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Eoghan tries to clinch but Mack is having none of it. Eoghan moves into the clinch successfully.
Mack wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Mack is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Eoghan is keeping busy. Eoghan wants to break the clinch but can't.

Eoghan closes the distance and clinches. Eoghan is looking to break free of the clinch but Mack has double underhooks. Mack drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Eoghan breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Both fighters are breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fight stays on the outside here - Eoghan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Eoghan wants to clinch. Eoghan rushes Mack and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Mack jumps guard but Eoghan stands there with Mack around his waist. Mack gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Eoghan lands with a short head shot on the inside. Eoghan gets through Mack's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Mack fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sam Mack. That's going to take a lot out of him. Eoghan wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Eoghan tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mack smiles and moves away.
Eoghan clinches but Mack breaks the clinch and Mack counters with a one-two to the body. Eoghan throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Mack decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Eoghan's guard. Mack stopping the sweep attempt from Eoghan. Eoghan has his feet on Mack's hips. He pushes off and gets to his feet. Nice work.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Eoghan doesn't succeed with the takedown and Mack counters by moving into the clinch. Mack jumps guard but Eoghan stands there with Mack around his waist. Mack gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Eoghan manages to break the clinch.
Eoghan shoots and misses and Mack counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Eoghan! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Eoghan can't escape the position.
Mack trying to control but Eoghan is having none of it. Mack fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Eoghan has given up his back, trying to stand up. Not clever. Eoghan is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Mack gets his way!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Mack is looking to finish with some ground and pound! So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.
Eoghan trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Eoghan is trying to get back to his feet but he's not managed it yet. What can Eoghan do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
Gavin Eoghan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Eoghan tries to escape but Mack has the hooks in and won't let him break free. Mack is trying to stick to Eoghan's back but Eoghan is turning into Mack. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Mack's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Eoghan. Eoghan stands and steps away. Mack gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Mack showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Eoghan.
Mack rushes Eoghan and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Eoghan lands a shoulder strike.
And that's the end of the fight! Sam Mack showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Mack, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
