Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roma Mano!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Anderson Silva!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mano gets a takedown into half guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Mano seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Mano lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Mano looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Silva wants to control but Mano is keeping busy and won't allow it.
Mano working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

Mano seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Silva wants to get back to full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Still in half guard, Mano seems content to control.
Mano looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
Mano perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Mano drives through and clinches with Silva against the cage.

Silva throws a knee to the head but misses.
Silva tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage.

Mano lands a hook that snaps the head of Silva backwards.
Mano scores with a nice hook to the head.
Mano is trying to trip Silva. He has hold of a leg but Silva is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Mano persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Silva can't keep his opponent in guard - Mano advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Mano is taking a breather. Silva says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Mano lands strikes from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Silva is looking to get back to is feet but Mano passes into side control.
Mano in side control lands a decent elbow.
Silva is rocked!
Mano lands a strong strike to the head of Silva. That's dazed him! Mano looking to finish here. Silva is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Mano lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
