The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Skip Squint and Summer Carpenter.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from The Silencer misses the target.
Condit fails in his attempt to clinch.
Condit gets in close and instigates a clinch.
The Silencer looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now.

Condit crunches a lovely knee into The Silencer's ribcage.
Condit escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Condit feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

The Silencer stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and The Silencer wants it to stay on the feet.

Condit has control of The Silencer's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and The Silencer regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Condit tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
BOOM! Condit connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Condit is working for a guillotine from mount but The Silencer frees his head quite easily.
Condit controlling the pace for now.
Condit's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Condit wants to finish this one by submission but The Silencer is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Condit.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Condit manages to capitalize on a mistake by The Silencer to take his back!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. This is the final round!
Condit tries to score a power double leg takedown but The Silencer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Condit somewhat.
The Silencer gets in close and instigates a clinch.

Condit tries to land a knee to the head but The Silencer blocks with his arms.
Condit is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.

The Silencer jumps into guard, dragging Condit to the mat.

Condit's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Condit stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. The Silencer swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Carlos Condit.
Condit fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging The Silencer to the ground. Condit is now in The Silencer's guard.
The Silencer takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Condit has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
Condit shoots in looking for a takedown. The Silencer tries to sprawl out of it but Condit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. The Silencer manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Condit is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that The Silencer can do to turn this around?

Condit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but The Silencer avoids it really well and circles away.

Well Condit has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
