Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Scott Harrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jb Trent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jb Trent told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Scott Harrison!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jb Trent!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Skip Squint and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Trent shoots in looking for a takedown but Harrison manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Trent's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Trent checks a leg kick.
A clash of legs there as Trent blocks the low kick.
Harrison swings away with a leg kick that misses.
A nice leg kick lands there from Harrison.
Harrison wants to clinch up but Trent keeps it at a distance.
Scott Harrison seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Trent shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Trent takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Harrison throws a quick inside leg kick.
Harrison drives through and clinches with Trent against the cage.
Trent wants to break free but Harrison has control.
Trent can't get the takedown.
Scott Harrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jb Trent.
Trent swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Harrison breaks from the clinch.
Trent stuffs the takedown.
Harrison is looking to chop away at Trent's legs.
Harrison fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Harrison shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

Trent is desperately trying to improve his position but Harrison has a good base and remains in mount.
Trent is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Harrison stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Harrison moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Harrison stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Harrison wants it to stay on the feet.
Harrison goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Harrison lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Harrison connects with a leg kick. Trent looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
Trent looks gassed!
Harrison scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Trent stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Harrison.
Nice takedown defense from Harrison. No joy for Trent on that attempt.
Harrison throws a nice inside leg kick.
Harrison closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Harrison lands in his opponent's guard.
Harrison stands up from Trent's guard - Harrison perhaps looking for a knockout.
Harrison feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Trent's calf.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Harrison connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Harrison has taken the fight to the clinch.
Harrison's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harrison drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Harrison content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
Harrison has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
A solid leg kick lands there for Harrison.
Trent gets tackled into the cage by Harrison. Harrison maintains the clinch.
Harrison pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
A chopping leg kick lands by Harrison.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Trent sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Harrison lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Harrison has closed the distance and engaged Trent in a clinch.
Harrison jumps into guard, dragging Trent to the mat.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Harrison pulls Trent in close to his closed guard and prevents Trent from doing any damage or advancing position.
Trent is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Harrison has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Trent is looking to defend but Harrison has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Trent! Harrison pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Trent taps out and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Scott Harrison!
