The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Michaels throws the kick towards the body but Zeppelin avoids it.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Zeppelin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Michaels throws a right hand that Zeppelin ducks under and follows up with a left that Zeppelin also avoids with ease.

Zeppelin scores with a sloppy right hand. Michaels should have avoided that one.
Michaels throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Zeppelin moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Michaels lands a nice shot to the body.
Led Zeppelin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zeppelin ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Michaels moves away.

Zeppelin closes the distance and clinches.
Michaels blocks an uppercut.

Still in the clinch, Michaels scores with a nice short uppercut.
Zeppelin misses with a shot to the kidneys.

Michaels pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Michaels goes for a high kick. It partially lands.

Michaels tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Zeppelin was well out of range. Poor timing from Michaels.
Zeppelin misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Zeppelin darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Zeppelin avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Michaels takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Michaels throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Michaels misses with a jab, cross combination.
A decent looking body kick lands there for Zeppelin.
Zeppelin is looking to clinch.
Zeppelin does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Zeppelin tries to close the distance and clinch but Michaels swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Zeppelin blocks a low kick nicely.
Michaels misses with a head kick.
Michaels throws a sloppy head kick and Zeppelin moves out of range easily.
Zeppelin buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Zeppelin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Zeppelin thumps Michaels with a low kick.
Michaels pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Michaels misses with a body kick.
Zeppelin thumps Michaels with a low kick.

Zeppelin scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Michaels doesn't seem bothered though.
Michaels avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Zeppelin is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Michaels wants to slow Zeppelin down by chopping away at his legs.

Zeppelin goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.

Michaels throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Michaels moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.


Zeppelin is rocked!
Zeppelin throws a poor cross that misses
and Michaels counters with a hugh head kick that removes Zeppelin from consiousness! A brutal head kick knockout!
