Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sid Lagove (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alan Dzagoev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lagove comes to the cage accompanied by What you say. Sid Lagove could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Alan Dzagoev's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Lagove counters with a good, hard body kick but Dzagoev shrugs it off.

Dzagoev is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

Lagove darts in and clinches Dzagoev up against the cage.
Dzagoev is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Lagove has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Dzagoev avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Lagove wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Dzagoev, who protects the arm well.
Lagove is looking to take a break and control but Dzagoev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Lagove goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Dzagoev has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Lagove but great work by Dzagoev.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Lagove is on top in guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

The fighters are battling for position here. Lagove manages to regain full guard. Nice work.

Lagove unloads with some vicious shots from mount and Dzagoev wants out - he looks towards the referee who steps in to save him! Lagove celebrates on the cage and the crowd goes wild!

Sid Lagove decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
