Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Maximus Scott (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuji Kitauchi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Marco Blurström and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Scott misses with a hook.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up.
Kitauchi bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Scott's guard.
Scott is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Yuji Kitauchi is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Scott lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise.
Kitauchi pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Scott misses with a kick to the body.
Scott dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Kitauchi. That did some damage!

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Scott throws out a leg kick but Kitauchi moves out of range and Scott only half commits.
Scott throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
A big right from Kitauchi misses.
Scott looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.

Kitauchi throws a front kick aimed at Scott's knee but Scott avoids it well.
Scott lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Kitauchi fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Scott manages to avoid it.
Kitauchi takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Scott tries a head kick but it misses.
Scott feints and then cracks Kitauchi's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kitauchi down.

Scott throws a head kick but Kitauchi moves out of range.
Kitauchi's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Scott connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Kitauchi scrambles back to his feet.
Scott loads up on a big right hand but Kitauchi slips the punch.
Scott lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
