The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pesina throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around O Connor's waist but O Connor gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Pesina off to one side.
Pesina drops O Connor with a nice combination! Pesina dives into O Connor's guard, looking to finish!
It looks like Phil O Connor has been cut.
Pesina wants to stand but O Connor has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
