The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lesnar wants to clinch.

Jackson stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Jackson fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Lesnar closes the distance looking to clinch

and Jackson counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Lesnar!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Jackson seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Lesnar for as long as he can get away with.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Clint Jackson.
Lesnar tries to clinch up but Jackson circles away and keeps his distance.
Jackson stuns Lesnar with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.

Clint Jackson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Jackson connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
