Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Simbo Klice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil DeBlunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). DeBlunt has chosen Westside Connection - Bow Down as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Dillan Fox and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
DeBlunt throws a hook but Klice blocks it.
Klice misses the shot to the body.
Klice connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
DeBlunt throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
DeBlunt lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Simbo Klice has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
A looping hook to the body misses from DeBlunt. Klice does a little dance to reset his feet.
Klice throws a leg kick which misses DeBlunt's front leg but catches the back leg as DeBlunt tries to avoid it.
Klice misses the jab.
DeBlunt looks to throw the jab but Klice is out of range.
DeBlunt ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Simbo Klice seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

and Klice counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Klice dodges the punch combination from DeBlunt.
Klice lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Klice lands a really nice looking cross but DeBlunt seems unphased.

DeBlunt bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Klice throws a hook but DeBlunt blocks it.
Klice lands with a cross.
Klice throws a jab but it's blocked by DeBlunt.
DeBlunt misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Klice counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Klice scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. DeBlunt doesn't seem bothered though.

DeBlunt is rocked!
DeBlunt throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.

Klice throws a right and a left that both miss.
Klice slips a straight right by DeBlunt.
DeBlunt misses with a body shot.
A big right from DeBlunt misses.
Nice jab there from Klice.
Klice fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and DeBlunt has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Oooooh!!! Klice has knocked DeBlunt down with a huge combo! Klice steps away and waves a wobbly DeBlunt back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
DeBlunt is still on wobbly legs! Can Klice finish him?
It looks like Phil DeBlunt has been cut.
DeBlunt drops his hands momentarily and Klice needs no second invitation. He sets himself and throws a perfect high kick, that clips DeBlunt just on the top of the head. DeBlunt drops like a sack of potatoes to the canvas, out cold! Oooooooh yeah! Stick a fork in DeBlunt - he's done!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:39 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Simbo Klice!
After winning the bout, Simbo Klice thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
