The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
D throws a nice looking combination but Drawde bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Drawde looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Drawde blocks a head kick by D.
D misses with a head kick.
D lands a head kick!
D lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Drawde misses with a takedown
and D counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.

Evan D seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Drawde shoots in for a double leg but D sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Drawde is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in D's half guard.

Drawde content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because D has locked up a guillotine! D's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Drawde is holding on here and D must be using up a lot of energy. Drawde has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! D gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
