Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the lightweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Izaac Kari!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Yoko Gushiken!
The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Shigeki Sano and Shirou Masuda.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kari tries to close the distance and clinch but Gushiken swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Gushiken gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gushiken. Kari does a little dance to reset his feet.
Gushiken throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Gushiken misses the body punch
and Kari counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Gushiken thinking.
Kari fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Gushiken looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Kari fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Gushiken counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.
Kari throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A lazy left from Kari finds it's target.
Kari misses with a wild body shot.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Kari tries to throw a body punch but Gushiken avoids it by throwing Kari back against the cage.

Kari digs a right hand into Gushiken's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Gushiken's gas tank.

Gushiken throws a right and a left that both miss.
Kari lands the left hand.

Gushiken is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Kari rather than just go for the knockout.
Kari throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gushiken sees it coming and avoids it easily.
This has been an exciting period of action!

Kari throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Kari is looking to clinch but Gushiken is avoiding it.
Yoko Gushiken seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gushiken throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Gushiken misses with an uppercut.
Kari scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.

and Kari counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Kari swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Gushiken.
Gushiken is looking to score with low kicks.

Gushiken throws a left jab followed by a right to the body, Oh Kari colapses and takes a barrage of punches from Gushiken as he moves to mount! the ref stops the fight and Kari is left battered and dazed whilst Gushiken and his camp cheer!
