Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Butcher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dan Yardy (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Frank Butcher is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Frank Butcher! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
13 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Dan Yardy! The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Yardy closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Yardy lands in his opponent's guard. The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Yardy working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Yardy has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Yardy wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position. Yardy lands a couple of elbows. Butcher has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yardy can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Yardy throwing strikes from guard but Butcher blocks nicely. Yardy looking to pass the guard. Yardy cracks Butcher with a solid left hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Butcher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Yardy with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Yardy lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Yardy is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Yardy wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position. Yardy trying to move into half guard but instead Butcher has managed to sweep! Butcher prevents Yardy from getting back to his feet. Butcher trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Yardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Butcher is controlling him.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Butcher looking to pass the guard. Yardy wriggles free and stands up. Butcher falls off balance throwing a combination
and Yardy counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Butcher has his takedown stuffed and Yardy counters with a stiff right hand. Yardy rushes Butcher and presses him up against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Yardy tightens his grip and picks Butcher up, before dumping him to the ground. Butcher manages to land in guard. Yardy postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Yardy trying to control but Butcher is working from the bottom. Yardy is working Butcher over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Butcher is on top in guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Yardy utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Butcher is looking to work some ground and pound but Yardy has wrist control. Butcher looking to pass the guard. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Yardy wriggles free and stands up. Butcher shoots in but Yardy avoids the takedown attempt easily. Yardy lands a two punch combo.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Butcher instigates a clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dan Yardy dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Yardy scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Butcher shoots and misses and Yardy counters with a nice body shot. Yardy lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Butcher circles away quickly and effectively. Butcher with a lazy takedown attempt and Yardy counters with a series of strikes. Butcher will be more careful next time no doubt. Danga de danga de dang - Yardy scores with a four punch combination! This has been an exciting period of action! Nice uppercut there from Yardy. Horrible takedown by Butcher or perhaps it was just good defense by Yardy which made him look bad. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Butcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. Yardy gets a clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Yardy works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Yardy working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Butcher's head. Yardy missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Yardy throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Butcher works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Yardy wants to control from the top but Butcher keeps moving. Yardy wants to pass the guard but Butcher is keeping the position. Butcher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Yardy's guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Butcher loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. Yardy is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Butcher is controlling him. Yardy wriggles free and stands up. Butcher with a poor takedown and Yardy counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Yardy. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Butcher has Yardy pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Yardy manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Butcher tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Yardy just stands there and leans against the cage. Yardy has clasped his hands together around Butcher's back... aaand, he's got a takedown into side control. Nicely done. Butcher is not content to let Yardy control the position. Yardy throwing strikes but missing, from side control.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butcher takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Butcher is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Dan Yardy has got the better of the ground game so far. Yardy working the ground and pound. Yardy scores with punches from side control. Yardy is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Butcher is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now. Butcher takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yardy fails to land a wild elbow strike.
Yardy working the strikes but Butcher uses the opportunity to regain half guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Butcher is trying to get back to full guard. Butcher is working hard here to advance position. Butcher gets back to full guard.

Dan Yardy showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. And we move into the final round!

Yardy scrambles and gets back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Butcher looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Yardy is fending him off so far but Butcher persists. Nope, Yardy circles away and we're back to standing. Yardy stuffs the takedown. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Frank Butcher. That's going to take a lot out of him. No luck with that takedown attempt from Butcher. No joy there for Butcher, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Butcher shoots in looking for a takedown but Yardy manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Butcher's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Butcher shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Yardy pinned against the cage. Yardy gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Dan Yardy is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Butcher gets caught flat footed, as Yardy shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Yardy is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Butcher keeping full guard, as Yardy tries to pass.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Yardy showing good wrestling skills to control the position. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Yardy trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Butcher is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
OK we're going to have a standup here. Dan Yardy hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart. Butcher doesn't succeed with the takedown and Yardy counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Frank Butcher has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Butcher with a lazy takedown attempt and Yardy counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Dan Yardy. Well Yardy has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
