Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Eryk Bartnik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ryuhaku Todoh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bartnik's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Raise Hell by Hed PE. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Ryuhaku Todoh!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Hugh Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Todoh tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Bartnik closes the distance and clinches.
Todoh lands a body punch.
Bartnik wants a takedown.
Bartnik takes an elbow to the temple.
Todoh scores with a shot to the side of Bartnik's head.
Todoh tries a knee to the head but Bartnik blocks it.

Todoh throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Todoh throws an elbow that misses.

Bartnik really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Todoh continues to stall. The referee tells him to work or he's going to break them up.

A frustrated look appears on Todoh's face as he tries to break the clinch.

Bartnik fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Todoh avoids it really well and circles away.
Oh Bartnik is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Todoh tries a head kick but it misses.
Bartnik seems to have got his legs back now.
Todoh misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Bartnik shoots for a takedown but Todoh saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Eryk Bartnik. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bartnik tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Todoh swivels and escapes.
Todoh throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bartnik tries to keep at a distance but Todoh has taken the fight into the clinch.
Bartnik goes for a takedown attempt but Todoh pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Todoh closes the distance and clinches up with Bartnik, looking for a takedown. Todoh pushes Bartnik against the cage but Bartnik circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Bartnik.

Todoh is looking to clinch but Bartnik is avoiding it.

Todoh closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Bartnik's guard.

Todoh thows a huge punch but Bartnik dodges it nicely.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Todoh is trying to control. Bartnik wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Ryuhaku Todoh was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Todoh pulls out of a head kick attempt.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Todoh goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Bartnik fails with the takedown.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Todoh takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Bartnik tries to kick Todoh off in order to stand up. Todoh Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
Bartnik can't do much from the bottom here.
Bartnik stops Todoh from passing to mount.

Todoh is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Bartnik is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Bartnik tries to buck Todoh off but Todoh is having none of it.

Todoh might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bartnik kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.
Bartnik shoots in looking for a takedown. Todoh tries to sprawl out of it but Bartnik keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Todoh manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Bartnik shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Todoh defends it nicely.

Bartnik drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
Todoh manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.

Todoh is working on a guillotine. He's managed to get to full guard and he's really squeezing tight! Bartnik is tapping! Great win for Todoh!
