Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Bod Zio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Silik Hunt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zio comes to the cage accompanied by Old Mcdonald had a farm. Hunt has chosen London Calling as his entrance music. Silik Hunt has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zio stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Zio tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Hunt takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Hunt moves out of range of the leg kick from Zio.
Zio uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Hunt.

Zio walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Hunt checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Bod Zio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Zio has Hunt up against the cage in a clinch.
Zio's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Zio has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Zio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Bod Zio.
Well Zio has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
