Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joe Ball (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jack Potatos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ball's entrance music is Hammer Smashed Face. A fine choice. Potatos is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Just Another Victim by Helmet&House of Pain. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Joe Ball! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Jack Potatos! The judges for this bout are Andrew Berry, Steven Brown and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potatos clobbers Ball with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
It looks like Joe Ball has been cut. Ball misses with an uppercut. Potatos saw that one coming. A punch combination from Potatos misses. Ball takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Ball dodges the punch combination from Potatos.
Potatos misses with a two punch combination.
Potatos swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Potatos stuffs the takedown attempt from Ball. Ball gets slowly back to his feet. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Ball. Potatos bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Ball lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Potatos misses with a wild body shot. Ball bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ball takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Potatos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ball misses with a takedown enabling Potatos to counter with a crisp jab. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Joe Ball. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potatos ducks down and throws a hook to the body. Ball is breathing heavily. Potatos connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Potatos clobbers Ball with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Potatos lands a nice shot that snaps Ball's head back.
Joe Ball's cut is getting worse. Ball on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Jack Potatos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Potatos throws a leg kick but Ball checks it. Potatos misses with a double jab.

Potatos thows a body shot but no joy. Potatos defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Ball. Ball avoids a punch combination nicely.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Ball. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Potatos looks to score with a jab to the body but Ball is just out of range. Potatos lands a jab.
Joe Ball's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. A punch combination from Potatos misses. Potatos slips under a jab from Ball. Potatos is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Ball rather than just go for the knockout. Potatos swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Potatos connects with a good right hand that stumbles Ball. Ball circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Jeez, Joe Ball's cut is really nasty now. The referee must be thinking about getting that checked. Potatos misses with the combination.
Ball uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Potatos.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potatos scoring well with a low kick there.
Ball takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Potatos's corner calls for a 1-2. Potatos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Joe Ball's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
