Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Osana Bin Laden! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Jum Uytr! The judges for this bout are Radbod Blank, Nard Betker and Paul Aken.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bin Laden with a lazy takedown attempt and Uytr counters with a single leg into guard. Bin Laden didn't expect that. Bin Laden is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Uytr must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Bin Laden is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Uytr postures up in Bin Laden's guard and throws a big left but Bin Laden blocks it. Uytr controlling from the top position. Bin Laden controlling Uytr's posture. Uytr stands up from Bin Laden's guard - Uytr perhaps looking for a knockout.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin Laden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Uytr defends it nicely. Bin Laden with a lazy takedown attempt and Uytr counters with a nice double leg into guard. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Osana Bin Laden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Uytr prevents Bin Laden from getting back to his feet. Uytr really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bin Laden. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Bin Laden avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Uytr trying to control but Bin Laden is working from the bottom. Uytr stays in close to Bin Laden's body and controls the position. Uytr stopping the sweep attempt from Bin Laden.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Jum Uytr was stalling too much, according to the referee. Bin Laden shoots for a takedown but Uytr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Bin Laden shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Uytr counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Bin Laden is breathing heavily. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Uytr sitting and controlling from the half guard. Let's hope that Uytr has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bin Laden is refusing to be controlled, as Uytr sits in half guard. Bin Laden wants to improve his position but Uytr is controlling well.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Jum Uytr was stalling too much, according to the referee. Some wild striking there from Uytr.
Uytr keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Uytr clinches. Come on Bin Laden - let's have some action - none of this stalling nonsense.
Uytr is trying to force a seperation but Bin Laden has the dominant position. Uytr pulls guard effortlessly. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bin Laden postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Uytr throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Bin Laden looking to control the position here, rather than advance. Uytr is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Bin Laden loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Bin Laden lands a couple of elbows. Bin Laden wants to stand but Uytr is controlling his posture from full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jum Uytr dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

A short right hand to the side of the head by Bin Laden. Uytr gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Bin Laden.

Uytr is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Uytr looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Bin Laden with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Bin Laden slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Bin Laden is trying to control the position but Uytr postures up. Uytr trying to control the position from guard on top but Bin Laden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Bin Laden is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Uytr is controlling him. Jum Uytr has got the better of the ground game so far. Uytr gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Bin Laden with a lazy takedown attempt and Uytr counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Bin Laden gets caught napping as Uytr dives in and scores a takedown. Bin Laden manages to retain guard. Uytr trying to control but Bin Laden is working from the bottom. Bin Laden is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Uytr pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Bin Laden is keeping the position for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bin Laden tries to close the distance and clinch up but Uytr swats him away and circles back towards the center. Bin Laden misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Osana Bin Laden. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bin Laden doesn't succeed with the takedown and Uytr counters with a series of strikes. Bin Laden will be more careful next time no doubt. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Uytr throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Bin Laden was covering up waiting for the punch and Uytr finishes the takedown easily into guard. Uytr trying to control but Bin Laden is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Uytr looking to pass the guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bin Laden is on top in guard.

Jum Uytr showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Uytr has gone for a leg lock! Bin Laden slips out almost immediately though and dives into Uytr's guard. Uytr throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.

Bin Laden doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bin Laden manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Uytr keeping moving, preventing Bin Laden from controlling successfully. Bin Laden lands a couple of decent looking shots. Uytr looking for a sweep. Not yet Uytr, not yet. Bin Laden decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Osana Bin Laden seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Uytr jabs Bin Laden to the body, keeping him at a distance. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Bin Laden slips a jab and a cross from Uytr.
Bin Laden will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Uytr manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Bin Laden on his heels. He'll look to pass Bin Laden's guard now, I'm sure. Uytr trying to control the position from guard on top but Bin Laden is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Bin Laden keeping full guard, as Uytr tries to pass. Uytr trying to control but Bin Laden is working from the bottom. Uytr wants to get up but he can't break Bin Laden's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.

Uytr stands up from Bin Laden's guard - Uytr perhaps looking for a knockout. Bin Laden shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Uytr defends it nicely.
