The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
MacReady bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
Styles slips a jab from MacReady.

MacReady pushes Styles up against the cage in a clinch.
Styles misses with some punches.

MacReady tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked.

MacReady connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
Styles with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling MacReady to score with a decent uppercut.

MacReady feints and then cracks Styles's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Styles down.
MacReady throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
MacReady misses with a lunging right hand
and Styles counters with a takedown into side control.
MacReady is looking to regain half guard here but Styles keeps moving and retains side control.
MacReady can't do much from the bottom here.

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
MacReady avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Styles.
Styles has hold of MacReady's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! MacReady tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Styles cranks the arm and MacReady screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from MacReady, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
