Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jamal Reed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mike Honcho (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Reed comes to the cage accompanied by Welcome to the jungle. Honcho has chosen 30 Seconds to Mars- Battle of One as his entrance music. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Honcho misses with the combination.
Honcho wants to clinch.
Honcho tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Some wild striking there from Honcho.
Horrible takedown by Reed or perhaps it was just good defense by Honcho which made him look bad.
Honcho with a hook.
Honcho takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Reed scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The referee tells the fighters to keep busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Reed is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Honcho looks calm but he's in trouble here. Reed gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Honcho is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Reed lets go of the hold and Honcho can pop his arm back in it's socket.
