Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

12 - 7 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Denali Fili!
The judges for this bout are Igor Prikhodko, Vladimir Khabensky and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swistopliasov rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fili moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Fili tries to clinch there but Swistopliasov circles away.
Decent striking displayed by Swistopliasov there.
Swistopliasov shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Fili as he avoids it easily.
Swistopliasov shoots in looking for a takedown but Fili manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Swistopliasov's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Swistopliasov dives in and grabs Fili's left leg, looking for a takedown. Fili pushes down on Swistopliasov's head and hops out.

Fili moves into the clinch.

Swistopliasov wants to take the fight to the mat but Fili manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Swistopliasov has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Fili regains guard immediately.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Swistopliasov postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fili is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Swistopliasov, into his guard.
Swistopliasov has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Fili can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Swistopliasov escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Fili gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Fili stands and steps away. Swistopliasov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Swistopliasov misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Fili swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.

and Fili counters with a crisp right hand that drops Swistopliasov! Fili lets Swistopliasov back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
It looks like Ivan Swistopliasov has been cut.

and Swistopliasov counters with a nice double leg into half guard.

Fili wants to control but Swistopliasov is keeping busy and won't allow it.

Swistopliasov is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Fili is just riding it out for now. Swistopliasov eventually gives up the hold.

Fili is pulling down on Swistopliasov's head to control his posture.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Swistopliasov drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Swistopliasov jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Denali Fili will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on Ivan Swistopliasov's cut.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.
Fili moves into the clinch successfully.
Fili lands a nice shot to the body.

Fili lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Fili creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Fili lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Fili drops Swistopliasov onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Swistopliasov is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Swistopliasov is rocked!
Fili lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Swistopliasov to his knees! Fili keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Denali Fili!
