Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kenjiro Maeda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kenjiro Maeda! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, David Silva! The judges for this bout are Taro Takaoka, Yukihiro Shimada and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Maeda fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Silva, pushing him back against the cage. Maeda using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Silva has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Silva tries to break the clinch but Maeda is controlling the position. Maeda prevents a takedown attempt there.
Silva is working for takedown but Maeda is calmly controlling the position for now. Silva is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Maeda gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Kenjiro Maeda has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Silva. Maeda pulls guard successfully.
Silva keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Maeda's head. Maeda kicks Silva off and gets to his feet. Maeda is looking to clinch. Silva fails to land the takedown. Maeda is looking to clinch but Silva is avoiding it.

Maeda really is a fat lump. Maeda pulls Silva into guard.

Silva won't allow Maeda to sweep him here. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Silva stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Maeda swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Silva takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Maeda moves into range and clinches up with Silva. Maeda taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Maeda lands with a right to the head. Maeda connects with a nasty looking knee right to Silva's face.
Maeda jumps into guard, dragging Silva to the mat.
Maeda pushes Silva off for just long enough to get back to his feet. Very athletic spring there. Silva misses with a series of wild punches.
Maeda stuffs the takedown. Silva tries to keep at a distance but Maeda has taken the fight into the clinch. Silva wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Silva fails to land the takedown. Silva looks to land a combination but Maeda avoids it well. Silva closes this distance looking for a takedown but Maeda circles away. Silva shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Maeda as he avoids it easily. David Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. No joy there for Silva, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Silva misses with a wild combination.
Silva looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Maeda is fending him off so far but Silva persists. Nope, Maeda circles away and we're back to standing. Danga de danga de dang - Silva scores with a four punch combination! Silva shoots in for a takedown but Maeda shows good takedown defense. Maeda is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Silva lands a big right hand and follows it up with an uppercut. Oh and another big punch and a knee - Maeda can't take much more of this! Another big shot to the jaw from Silva and Maeda drops to the floor. Beaten and bloodied - he had enough there. A vicious beatdown by Silva.
