Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Davis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Carlton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). John Carlton is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Bruce Davis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, John Carlton! The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, Steve Smith and William Peck.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Davis shoots in for a takedown but Carlton shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Davis throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Carlton's waist but Carlton gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Davis off to one side. Davis is looking to clinch. Davis shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Carlton sprawls well. Carlton wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Davis gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bruce Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Davis shoots in for a double leg but Carlton sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Horrible takedown by Davis or perhaps it was just good defense by Carlton which made him look bad. Davis with a lazy takedown attempt and Carlton counters with a crisp one two that drops Davis! Carlton thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Davis to his feet! Davis is in big trouble! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. BOOM! Carlton lands a beautiful left hook that drops Davis. Davis tries to recover but Carlton is having none of it, landing more punishing shots from mount. One final crushing shot and Davis lies motionless on the canvas. The fight is over!
