The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Dafoe misses with a takedown attempt
and Manard counters with a flying knee that sends his opponent to the canvas! Manard looking to finish!
Dafoe is rocked!
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Manard pushes down on Dafoe's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Oh Dafoe is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Manard is working for a kimura but Dafoe is defending it quite comfortably.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Manard lands a big elbow from half guard. That looks like it's hurt Dafoe quite badly. Dafoe pulls Manard in close trying to recover. Manard postures up and lands two really hard shots that put Dafoe on queer street! The ref takes a look and decides to call an end to the fight! Possibly an early stoppage but Dafoe doesn't seem to be complaining too much.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:26 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Gary Manard!
