Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ron One (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Justin Walts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ron One! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Justin Walts! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Yves DeLean and Trevor Gratis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! One fails to land the takedown. Walts tries for a takedown but One sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Walts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. One looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walts is fending him off so far but One persists. Nope, Walts circles away and we're back to standing. Walts shoots in but no luck this time. Ron One has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Justin Walts. Walts shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. One defends it nicely. Walts shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with One but One pushes him off and we're back to square one. One misses with a jab, cross combination.
One misses with a head kick.
Walts circles away from the clinch attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. One slaps away a takedown attempt from Walts, before circling back to the center of the mat. One looks for a takedown but Walts sprawls well. Walts throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around One's waist but One gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Walts off to one side. Walts shoots in for a takedown but One shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. One throws a head kick but Walts moves out of range.
Walts throws a series of punches but One avoids them all with ease. One tries a head kick but it misses.
Walts misses with a wild combination.
Walts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but One avoids it really well and circles away. Walts looks gassed!
That's two minutes gone in the round. One gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. One prevents the takedown attempt.
Walts drops to a knee looking for a takedown but One gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Walts changes levels and goes for a takedown here. One fights it off and pushes away nicely.
One displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Walts.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walts swivels and escapes. One drops Walts with a beautiful combination! Walts stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - One is looking for the KO!
It looks like Justin Walts has been cut. This has been an exciting period of action! One shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Walts will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Walts keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Walts slaps away a takedown attempt from One, before circling back to the center of the mat. One fails with a takedown attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One throws a leg kick that misses. Walts fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but One avoids it really well and circles away. Walts displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from One. Walts tries to keep at a distance but One has taken the fight into the clinch. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. One prevents a takedown attempt there.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Walts has a takedown stuffed. One looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walts is fending him off so far but One persists. Nope, Walts circles away and we're back to standing. One stuffs the takedown attempt from Walts. Walts gets slowly back to his feet. One throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Walts's waist but Walts gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing One off to one side. One rushes Walts and presses him up against the cage. One successfully pulls guard.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. One is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. One wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. One is trying to keep Walts in close.
One managing to control the position.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ron One. One closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Walts to the mat! Walts manages to get full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walts working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Walts working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. One doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. One manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. One throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Walts works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Walts is trying to control the position from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. One trying to control the position from guard on top but Walts is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. One trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Oneis looking to pass into half guard but Walts pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Walts is in guard. One is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. One is trying to control the position but Walts postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walts stopping the sweep attempt from One. One is working hard here to advance position. If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup. One looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The ref stands the fighters back up because Ron One just wasn't active enough. One keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Ron One dominated that second round. The cut man is working on Justin Walts's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
One closes the distance and clinches. One tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Walts smiles and moves away.
One throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Walts shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Walts showed some decent athleticism there. Walts is thwarting One's attempts to control the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Walts in particular looking to stall. Walts trying to control from half guard but One is working away. Walts missing with the ground and pound from half guard. One punching from the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walts tries to pass to full mount but One defends it. One pushes Walts off looking to stand but Walts dives back in and keeps control.
Walts sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. One defending well though. One wants to get back to full guard.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. One looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walts is fending him off so far but One persists. Nope, Walts circles away and we're back to standing. Both fighters are breathing heavily. One scores with a jab to the jaw. One blocks a head kick by Walts.
Ron One is winning the standup battle so far. One misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ron One. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walts changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. One tries to avoid it but Walts manages to keep hold of a leg and drag One to the ground. One escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Walts shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts One as he jumps to the side. Walts shoots in but One avoids the takedown attempt easily. One tries to clinch up but Walts circles away and keeps his distance. Ron One is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Walts shoots in looking for a takedown. One tries to sprawl out of it but Walts keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. One manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. One wants to clinch up but Walts keeps it at a distance.
That's four minutes gone in the round. One clinches up with Walts and pushes him back against the cage. One jumps guard but Walts stands there with One around his waist. One gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Walts keeps the fight in the clinch, despite One's efforts to push away. One leaning against his opponent.
One really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. One seems to have come into the fight with the intention of avoiding any damage in the clinch, rather than actually showing any aggression. Justin Walts has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Walts is looking for a takedown up against the cage. One gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Ron One. Well One has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win...
