Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Frank Harris (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dante Fertit (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Harris's entrance music is Cult of Personality - Living Colour. A fine choice. Fertit has chosen Roots Bloody Roots as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fertit shoots for a double leg takedown but Harris sprawls well. He's pushed Fertit's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Fertit walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.

It looks like Dante Fertit has been cut.

Fertit fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Harris tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.

Fertit shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Fertit perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there.

Fertit seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Harris does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Dante Fertit hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Fertit shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Harris as he jumps to the side.
Frank Harris has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dante Fertit.

Harris lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Fertit's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Fertit wants to free his trapped foot but Harris is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Fertit fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Harris avoids it really well and circles away.
Fertit shoots in looking for a takedown. Harris tries to sprawl out of it but Fertit keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harris manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Harris throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Harris lands a left and a right that send Fertit crashing to the mat, dazed. Harris thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!

Harris slaps away a takedown attempt from Fertit, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Fertit is still on wobbly legs! Can Harris finish him?
Fertit leaves his chin hanging out and Harris seizes the opportunity with an uppercut! Fertit crumbles to the floor in a heap! The referee steps in and tends to the downed fighter! What a knockout!
