Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Hauta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Tony Hauta!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Arvi Lind and Matti Vanhoillinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart avoids the head kick by Hauta.
Hauta shoots for a takedown but Hart saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Hart looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Hauta wants to sweep here but Hart controlling him for the moment.

Hauta is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Hart is aware though and is defending well.
Hauta is looking to stand up but Hart isn't so interested in that idea.
Hart chips away with some ground and pound.


It looks like Tony Hauta has been cut.
Hart showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Hart throws a big right hand that misses.
Hart working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Hart wants to stand but Hauta has a closed guard, so he can't escape.
Hauta is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Hauta looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hart is one step ahead there.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hauta trying to keep a closed guard but Hart is proving a slippery customer.
Hauta avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.
Hart is looking to work some ground and pound but Hauta has wrist control.

Hauta working for a triangle but Hart defends it easily.
Hauta manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Hart regains half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hart works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hauta pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Hart is keeping the position for now.
Hauta wants to stand but Hart is controlling his posture from full guard.
Hart pulls Hauta in close to his closed guard and prevents Hauta from doing any damage or advancing position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Hauta looking to sit in guard and control but Hart gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Hart keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Hauta's head.

That's four minutes gone in the round.

Hart stands up and waves to Hauta to follow him.
Hauta tries to clinch up.
Hauta wants to clinch up but Hart keeps it at a distance.

Hart shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. Hauta is trying to defend but Hart finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further.
Hart is keen to just control but Hauta is a slippery customer.
Hart not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Hart thows a wild elbow that connects with the canvas.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Hauta avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Hart.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Hauta works his way to full guard. Good work.
Hauta utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Hart cracks Hauta with a solid left hand.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Shane Hart dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Tony Hauta's cut.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


Hauta throws a body punch but Hart moves out of range.
Hart clobbers Hauta with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.


That has opened up Tony Hauta's cut even more.
Hart tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hauta paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hauta misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Hauta gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Hart.
Hauta moves in looking to clinch but Hart pushes him off.
Hart connects with a looping right hand.


Hauta is rocked!


The cut above Tony Hauta's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Hart drives through with a takedown into guard.
Hauta is still in real trouble! Can Hart finish him?
Hart postures up, still in guard. A huge hammer fist lands that bounces Hauta's head off the mat! Hauta is out! He's out! Hart jumps to his feet and celebrates with his corner!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:42 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Shane Hart!
A loyal slave to those sponsorship dollars, Shane Hart made sure he mentioned Undead clothing. All items 10$, along with how happy he was to win his fight.
