Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Sosuke Kotani and Hirohito Nitta.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva throws a combination. Takahashi tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
It looks like Ryosuke Takahashi has been cut.
Silva moves into the clinch successfully.
Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Silva uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Takahashi has time to react.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Silva closes the distance and clinches.
Silva pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Silva pushes Takahashi up against the cage in a clinch.
Silva scores with a knee to the head.
Takahashi is trying to pull guard but Silva has him pressed against the cage.

Takahashi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage.

Wanderlei Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ryosuke Takahashi.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Silva tries to bum rush Takahashi with a series of wild strikes but Takahashi uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wanderlei Silva seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nice takedown defense from Silva. No joy for Takahashi on that attempt.

Takahashi looks gassed!
Silva drops Takahashi with a huge uppercut! Takahashi drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Silva is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!
