The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Swanson takes the fight into the clinch.
Swanson prevents Joaquim from breaking the clinch.

Swanson breaks from the clinch.
A head kick misses from Joaquim.
Joaquim lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt.
Joaquim fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Swanson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Swanson takes a kick to the side of the head.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Joaquim drops Swanson with a beautiful combination! Swanson stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Joaquim is looking for the KO!

Swanson is rocked!
Swanson tries to close the distance and clinch up but Joaquim swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Swanson is still on wobbly legs! Can Joaquim finish him?
Swanson changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Joaquim tries to avoid it but Swanson manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Joaquim to the ground. Joaquim escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Joaquim lands a monster head kick that reverborates around the arena! The crowd goes wild as Swanson crumples to the floor! Joaquim milks the crowd's applause and if that isn't knockout of the night, I will be very surprised!
